Scherr Legate WinterFest Lights Parade

Celebrating 30 years in El Paso, more than 68,000 spectators line the streets of downtown to enjoy the Scherr Legate Lights Parade. The City’s only lights parade features more than 55 floats, marching bands, performers, and walking twinklers. Come early to grab a spot along the one-mile route that winds through downtown!

Parade Participant Application

Join us and be part of the Winterfest Scherr Legate Lights Parade! Applications are now being accepted for the City’s only lights parade that stretches about a mile through the heart of downtown.

We’re looking for creative illuminated floats, marching bands, walking and dance groups, car clubs, with incredible lighting.

Please ﬁll out the parade application and send back a complete application by email to Grace Faulkner, [email protected]. Once the application has been reviewed and approved, a representative will contact you on next steps via email. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. Be aware all payments must be done in person in order to ﬁnalize your registration and secure a slot.

Vendor & Food Truck Application

Calling all Vendors and Food Trucks! Applications are now being accepted for the Coolest Fest in the Southwest, WinterFest! Vendors and Food trucks are needed to sell gifts, serve delicious holiday meals and snacks for the first day of WinterFest happening Saturday, November 22.

Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
